Turbulent Times

I am no sage,I am no saint
Just want to say something,in a voice so faint
I have seen tides rise and then the waters recede
From what I have experienced I have something to concede

We live in changing times they say
Where things change not by the years but by the day
Sanctity and credence are nowhere to be found
Superficiality and indifference are things that abound

Pride and prejudice had filled up our minds
Like a serpent which to sandalwood binds
And there isn't much i can do or i can say
But turn a deaf year to peoples ha ha hay hay

But one thing I can assure, one thing will remain
I will not stand hypocrisy for other peoples gain
I will scream,I'll cry and I will wail
Till truth strikes you, like a blizzard full of hail

There are no protocols at the deception point
So be cautious or you'll wind up at one such joint
Stay hungry, stay foolish, all along your way
And never give a thought to what the f**king world says

Battle Royale-Counter Strike

This is my first poem which I wrote in around 35 minutes. Its a fond remembrance of the days when I was heavily into counter strike and dedicate it to all the teammates of my clan "Team V3".

As darkness surrounds and fear mounds,
And players prepare for the forthcoming rounds,
After playing 3 to 4 rounds free,
Every player is prepared for a killing spree.
Then the signal comes and everyone is steady
Its "Live in 3 restarts",are u ready?.
Pistol round is the crucial one,
It may decide which way the games gonna turn.
Assaulters are the guardians and spread their aura,
For if they get going u get wins in plethora
Most of them use the gun M4A1,
Though AK47 remains second to none.
For echoing we have the gun DEAGLE
With its proper use,the enemy gets bamboozled
AWP specialist is crucial among all,
And the sound of mag can become your death call
So till there's no mag there is tranquility,
As after that there's only fatality.
Then the rounds approach 15,and players prepare to change
So everyone conjures up all their strength,to win the last few games
Finally the sides change as the players swap
and both teams prepare for a deeper impact.
As the beacon goes on again and says "LIVE"
The sick sad story gets repeated twice,
You get nothing but head-shots,if u aim precise,
But there's nowhere to hide,if your get killed with a knife.
And finally as the game comes to an end
There is a team who's evolved as a champ,
And your path of glory is all laid, and all it takes is practice and skill
But if u can play like Vilden,Spawn and Method, then be sure my friend,we will meet in "cpl_mill"
So "GO GO GO",and dont ever "Fall Back"
For "Enemy is spotted" and all want to see his back
And "Storm the front" when ur "In Position"
And all u must say is "Affirmative" the jobs' done.

A Tribute to "The One"

My first post and the first thing i wish to talk about(which most people of our age don't) is the Almighty. All of us,at some point of time, have experienced the supernatural phenomena of experiencing the divine Lord at a conscious, semi conscious or unconscious level(if you haven't then its time you consider some serious introspection).Well I have encountered the mythical Godly aura around myself umpteen number of times.Be it the boisterous summer heat,or the chilly winter nights, something unexplainable insists us to go on or prohibits us for heading further. The only thing is that some hear it while others don't,because it is nothing but a state of mind.Only those who deeply seek the firm less and hear the soundless are the ones to have struck a cord with "The One".

I keep asking myself how everything around me is so perfect that things seems to fall into their correct place of their own accord.Talk about anything science, religion, arts, philosophy and you wont find a place where God isn't both the ultimate question and the ultimate answer.I can go on and on talking about His greatness and proving how He manifests Himself around us but I believe its the last thing He wants.

In spite of a being born in the pious city of Allahabad and a typical Hindu upbringing,my notions about "The One" totally differ from that of the purists and stereotype Hindus. From what I have seen I have gathered that many of those who call themselves followers of path laid by God don't even understand the tongue in which our ancient scriptures are written. At this point I would like to explain my philosophy by quoting a few lines from the book "The Kite Runner".It says,"There is only one sin.And that is theft.Every other sin is a variation of theft. When you kill a man,you steal a life, you steal his wife's right to her husband and his children's right to a father. When you tell a lie,you steal some one's right to the truth. There is no act more wretched than stealing".

I think that sums up the essence of worshipping God.We worship Him to beg forgiveness when we steal something and pray so that we don't give into the temptation of stealing in the future. That is what I feel He wants from us.I just wish we all could listen to Him more often and let His voice become the beacon guiding the ship of our life smoothly over the tempestuous seas.In many moments filled with turmoil,I have found repose and tranquility in His company, and I hope that his presence transcends to every ones soul making our life's a breathtaking experience.

PS : I know most youngsters like me would think that all this stuff is too grandma-ish for our age but I had to start off in this way and express my gratitude, and if u felt it was too boring(which most of you will) well then hold on there's some interesting stuff which i will post in the coming weeks.
