My first post and the first thing i wish to talk about(which most people of our age don't) is the Almighty. All of us,at some point of time, have experienced the supernatural phenomena of experiencing the divine Lord at a conscious, semi conscious or unconscious level(if you haven't then its time you consider some serious introspection).Well I have encountered the mythical Godly aura around myself umpteen number of times.Be it the boisterous summer heat,or the chilly winter nights, something unexplainable insists us to go on or prohibits us for heading further. The only thing is that some hear it while others don't,because it is nothing but a state of mind.Only those who deeply seek the firm less and hear the soundless are the ones to have struck a cord with "The One".
I keep asking myself how everything around me is so perfect that things seems to fall into their correct place of their own accord.Talk about anything science, religion, arts, philosophy and you wont find a place where God isn't both the ultimate question and the ultimate answer.I can go on and on talking about His greatness and proving how He manifests Himself around us but I believe its the last thing He wants.
In spite of a being born in the pious city of Allahabad and a typical Hindu upbringing,my notions about "The One" totally differ from that of the purists and stereotype Hindus. From what I have seen I have gathered that many of those who call themselves followers of path laid by God don't even understand the tongue in which our ancient scriptures are written. At this point I would like to explain my philosophy by quoting a few lines from the book "The Kite Runner".It says,"There is only one sin.And that is theft.Every other sin is a variation of theft. When you kill a man,you steal a life, you steal his wife's right to her husband and his children's right to a father. When you tell a lie,you steal some one's right to the truth. There is no act more wretched than stealing".
I think that sums up the essence of worshipping God.We worship Him to beg forgiveness when we steal something and pray so that we don't give into the temptation of stealing in the future. That is what I feel He wants from us.I just wish we all could listen to Him more often and let His voice become the beacon guiding the ship of our life smoothly over the tempestuous seas.In many moments filled with turmoil,I have found repose and tranquility in His company, and I hope that his presence transcends to every ones soul making our life's a breathtaking experience.
PS : I know most youngsters like me would think that all this stuff is too grandma-ish for our age but I had to start off in this way and express my gratitude, and if u felt it was too boring(which most of you will) well then hold on there's some interesting stuff which i will post in the coming weeks.
Well I would say the best begining to start off a new stuff like blogging this what we learned in our Schools to pray before we make hay ;) Go go go Terminator ;)
